About the Project

“Virtual Guide to the Cultural and Tourist Heritage of Ruse Municipality” is an innovative project that combines history and modern technologies to present the rich cultural and historical heritage of Ruse in a new, interactive and accessible way.

The project aims to unite the most significant cultural and tourist sites of the city into a single digital platform with virtual 360° tours, Google Business profiles, and a trilingual website (Bulgarian, English, Romanian).

Thanks to it, visitors from Bulgaria and abroad will be able to:

🌍 Explore interactive virtual tours of around 20 cultural sites in Ruse;

🗺️ Navigate easily through integrated Google Maps and updated profiles with working hours, contacts and descriptions;

🕍 Learn about the rich history of the city and its museums, house-museums, galleries and landmarks;

💬 Access information in several languages and share their impressions online.

The project is implemented by the Human Resources Development Agency with the support of the “Ruse – City of the Free Spirit” Foundation under the priority area “Knowledge and Growth.”
